Announcing the second annual GhostWALK Hudson Story Writing Contest, open to Columbia County, NY youth between the ages of 12 and 18... contest rules and applications available March 1, 2010
Stories must be focused on specific true events from Columbia County history of the 18th and 19th century... Research materials will be made available, along with writing tips and style suggestions at free info sessions at area libraries, coming March 2010.
Winning stories will be announced in August, selected by a panel of Columbia County-based authors and writers. Fall 2010 will bring the stories to life as teen participants in Walking the dog Theater's Afterschool Drama Program flesh out the characters and events. The bone chilling stories will set in historic buildings on Hudson's Warren Street and presented on a walking tour Friday November 5, 2010.
